It looks like Harley-Davidson is struggling to rack up sales in India, especially as the coronavirus pandemic has severely hit the Indian automobile industry. The iconic American motorcycle seems to be reducing the price of the vehicles to make them more affordable than ever.
This is especially true of the entry-level Street 750 which received a massive price cut of Rs 59,000 in June 2020. But now, the company has once again slashed the bike's price by a substantial amount.
BS6 Harley-Davidson Street Rod Vivid Black now starts from Rs 4.69 lakh instead of Rs 5.34 lakh, making it Rs 65,000 cheaper than before. The company has also slashed the prices of Performance Orange, Black Denim, Vivid Black Deluxe, and Barracuda Silver Deluxe variants by Rs 65,000; they all now get a price tag of Rs 4.81 lakh as opposed to Rs 5.46 lakh.
Harley-Davidson Street 750 is the company's most affordable motorcycle in India. It gets an upright stance, mid-mount footpegs, low seating position, and wide handlebars for a comfortable position, especially over long rides.
The bike also gets a round headlamp, bellows for the front forks, and blacked-out mechanical bay for sportier-looking aesthetics.
