Ford India has launched the EcoSport BS-VI in India. The petrol variant of the compact SUV comes at a starting price of Rs 8.04 lakh (ex-showroom), while the diesel variant of the car is priced from Rs 8.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
The upgraded Ford EcoSport comes with a marginal price hike and it gets six airbags, touchscreen infotainment, embedded navigation, claims the American automaker.
Ford is offering 3 years or 100,000 km warranty as standard with the EcoSport.

The Ford EcoSport BS-VI gets a 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol engine and a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel motor. The petrol engine churns out 122 PS of power and 149 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine kicks out 100 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque. The petrol engine is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic unit as well, while the diesel motor gets a 5-speed MT.
