Honda Grazia Introduced With New Cosmetic Updates

Honda launched its flagship 125cc scooter Grazia in 2017. It was designed to attract the attention of the young urban buyers who prefer a stylish, sporty and dynamic scooter. After almost two years Honda has introduced the updated 2019 version of their popular 125cc scooter in the country.

However, the update is limited to only top DX variant, while the base variant of the scooter remains unchanged. The Grazia is available in three variants including Drum, Drum Alloy and Disc. The 2019 Honda Grazia DX retails at Rs 64,668, (ex-showroom Delhi).

The remaining lower-spec model’s prices, on the other hand, remained unchanged. The changes to the 2019 model include a new ‘DX’ stickering on the front apron along with the addition of new colour – Pearl Siren Blue. Apart from these minimal cosmetic changes, the Honda Grazia remains mostly unchanged. The scooter continues to be powered by the same 124.9cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This unit is capable of producing about 8.5bhp of peak power and 10.5Nm of peak torque.

The scooter relies on a 130mm drum brake on both its front and rear to bring it to a halt. There is also an optional 190 mm disc brake available as well. The Grazia also gets Honda’s Combi-Braking System (CBS) for better stopping power. The scooter weighs about 107 kilograms and gets a fuel tank capacity of 5.3 litres.

The Grazia has been fitted with standard telescopic front forks and a spring loaded hydraulic suspension at the rear which promises to offer a plush ride. The scooter also uses a tubeless 90/90 R-12 wheels at the front and 90/100 R-10 tyres at the rear respectively. If we talk about features the 2019 Grazia gets a long list of features.

The list includes full LED headlamps, decent 18L under seat storage, a full-digital instrument cluster with Eco-Speed indicator, 4-in-1-lock with seat opening switch, and lastly a Glovebox, with USB charging socket. The updated 2019 Honda Grazia will rival directly against the likes of the TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Burgman Street, Suzuki Access 125 and the Aprilia SR 125.
