2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Facelift To Launch Soon

2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross facelift will soon get into production, which means it isn’t too far from its launch.

The updated lifestyle pickup will arrive just months after the introduction of the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour-rivalling Isuzu MU-X. The 2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross facelift that will soon launch in India is already on sale in the international markets.

It carries an upgraded styling for interior and exterior along with some significant mechanical changes. The new visual identity of the V-Cross comes from the revised front fascia with a new grille and revised bumper.

The ‘High’ variant, which is the fully-loaded version, comes with features such as revised tail lamps with LED signatures, new fog lamps, chrome finish on the rear bumper, and a new tailgate.

The 2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross facelift gets 18-inch alloy wheels while the safety package will continue to comprise of dual front airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control and Traction Control.

The talking point of the interior will be a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system that should offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.   The interior of the 2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross even gets a revised instrument panel and new upholstery. Other than this, the lifestyle pickup will even offer a multi-function steering wheel and a six-way electrically adjustable driver seat.

The biggest change will happen under the hood. As is the case with the Thai-spec V-Cross, the updated Indian model will get its power from a new engine. The new turbocharged motor displaces 1.9-litres and will come mated to a six-speed manual as well as an automatic gearbox.

The 2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross will offer a maximum power of 150 hp and a peak torque of 350 Nm. The current engine, which is a 2.5-litre CRDI motor that outputs 134 hp and 320 Nm, will be discontinued as it won’t be BSVI-compliant. Prices are expected to see a minor correction due to the additional features and the revised styling.
