FCA India launched the 2021 Jeep Compass facelift in the country at a starting price of Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
With four trims and 11 variants on offer, the price of the new Jeep Compass facelift goes up to Rs 28.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). To celebrate the Jeep brand's 80th anniversary, the automobile manufacturer has also introduced the Jeep Compass 80th Anniversary Limited Edition in the price range of Rs 22.96 lakh to Rs 26.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The 2021 Jeep Compass facelift was unveiled in India on January 7. FCA India has announced that the test drives and deliveries of the new Jeep Compass facelift will start on February 2.
The powertrain choices in the 2021 Compass include 1.4-litre Multiair turbo-petrol and 2.0-litre Multijet II diesel. The 1.4-litre Multiair turbo-petrol engine develops 160hp of maximum power and 250Nm of peak torque, and can be paired either with a 6-speed MT or a 7-speed DCT automatic.
The 2.0-litre Multijet II diesel motor produces 170hp of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque, and has 6-speed MT and 9-speed AT torque converter options. The new Compass comes with AWD (all-wheel-drive) capability, Jeep Active Drive and Jeep SelecTerrain 4x4 system that has auto, snow and sand/mud settings.
The 2021 Jeep Compass facelift is available in Sport, Longitude, Limited (O) and Model S trims. The Model S is the all-new global grade.
