Mahindra has announced that it will showcase a total of 18 vehicles at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020 across passenger and commercial vehicle segments. These will include a futuristic concept vehicle and 3 production-ready electric vehicles as well.
Apart from these, M&M will also exhibit electric batteries, charging stations and BS-VI compliant petrol engines at the event. Also, the company has announced that it will display a zero-waste automobile recycling concept along with a future electric architecture and an e-mobility platform.
It will showcase the products and concept under the theme 'Driven by Purpose'. As Mahindra claims, this is one of the widest range of EVs to be displayed at the event by an Indian OEM at the Auto Expo 2020.
Commenting on the company's product showcase plan, Veejay Ram Nakra, Chief of Sales and Marketing, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “We are delighted to reveal our theme for Auto Expo 2020. At Mahindra, we are driven by the purpose for a tomorrow that is clean, green and technologically connected. Our upcoming display of electric passenger and mass mobility products, concepts and solutions will meet the needs of today and also position us for the future."
He also said, "We are fully prepared to complete our transition into the BS-VI era and our display of BS-VI ready current and future engines will also demonstrate our commitment toward being future-ready”.
