Skoda has started Octavia RS 245's deliveries in India and the first unit was handed over to a customer in Goa.
In case you forgot, Octavia RS 245 is a high-performance sedan that was launched in India at the Auto Expo 2020 and became available for bookings in March.
However, the Czech carmaker closed Octavia RS 245's bookings last month after all the 200 units were booked. Skoda received most of the bookings from Southern parts of India, with Bengaluru topping the list.
The Octavia RS 245 has been brought to our shores via CBU (completely built-up) route because of which the sedan gets a steep price tag of Rs 36 lakh (ex-showroom).
The RS 245 is based on Octavia's top-end model and gets a host of provisions like an 8-inch infotainment system with Smartlink connectivity suite, fully digital virtual cockpit, panoramic sunroof, automatic headlamps, etc.
The Octavia RS 245 also gets 9 airbags, multi collision braking, ABS, EBD, front and rear parking sensors, anti-slip regulation system, rear parking camera, cruise control, etc.
