Now, Jet Airways CEO Vinay Dube quits

Grounded carrier Jet Airways Chief Executive Officer Vinay Dube has resigned from the post on Tuesday, a day after its deputy chief executive and chief financial officer Amit Agarwal quit the company.

An Indian-American, Dube had joined Jet Airways in August 2017 after serving various roles at Delta Airlines, Sabre Inc and American Airlines in the US, Europe and Asia.

"We wish to inform that Vinay Dube, chief executive officer has resigned from services of the company with immediate effect due to personal reasons," Jet Airways said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.

Dube had stepped in the position after almost 15 months of the departure of then chief executive Crammer Ball.

During the period, Agarwal officiated the position as acting CEO.
