Dulquer Salmaan’s blockbuster Malayalam film ‘Charlie’ is getting remade in Tamil as ‘Maara’. Madhavan is playing the lead role in the film with Shraddha Srinath and Sshivada as the heroines.

The film set for a direct OTT release. It is scheduled to premiere in Amazon Prime Video on December 17.

‘Charlie’ directed by Martin Prakkat was a huge hit, both critically and commercially. The film went on to win 8 awards at the Kerala State level including the ones for Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Screenplay.
