Mammootty, Mohanlal jointly inaugurate new A.M.M.A headquarters

Kochi: Actors Mammootty and Mohanlal inaugurated the headquarters of Association of Malayalam Movie Artists. The actors’ association AMMA moved into their brand new building that was built on a whopping sum of more than Rs 10 crore.

Interestingly, the association gets their own headquarters on on the 25th year of its formation.

AMMA president Mohanlal, in his inaugural address, announced a new movie which will be made by AMMA members. 

Though Mohanlal refrained from revealing the title and lead cast, the film touted to be a a crime thriller, will be scripted and written by Rajeev Kumar. The film which will have more than 140 artists will be produced by Aashirvaad Cinemas. 

The ‘smart’ building is equipped with modern and updated technology.The luxury building boasts of all the modern amenities. Besides conducting their meetings, the the spacious hall would be rented out for conducting various cultural events.

There are special chambers for the members to meet writers and directors. The building has a cafeteria too.
