'Viswasam' leaked online by Tamilrockers

A head of Pongal, theatres in Tamil Nadu are running packed houses, thanks to the release of Ajith's Viswasam and Rajinikanth's Petta. Ajith's film with director Siruthai Siva released in about 2000 screens on January 10 across the world and has wowed his fans.

Ajith's fans are seeing his film after a one and a half year hiatus and can't seem to contain the excitement. The premiere and early morning shows of this rural entertainer ran houseful, with excited fans celebrating their idol.

However, their happiness is cut short by active piracy website TamilRockers, who has leaked the film merely within hours of its release, that too in HD quality. Viswasam has become a victim of online piracy, which will create a dent in its box office collection.

Angry fans took to Twitter asking Tamil Nadu Film Producers' Council President Vishal, to take action against the website admins and requested the concerned people to block their website.

TamilRockers, who has a wide network across the world, manages to leak every Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film on the day of its release. Along with Viswasam, they had leaked Rajinikanth's Petta and Balakrishna's NTR Kathanayakudu as well.

Viswasam starring Ajith and Nayanthara is a rural family entertainer that has a solid message on parenting. The film is said to have collected Rs 26.7 crores in Tamil Nadu on its opening day.
