YSR’s son Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulates Yatra team

Mammootty’s Telugu film ‘Yatra’ has opened to positive reports from all corners. The movie has also taken a good start at the worldwide box office. In Kerala, the Malayalam version has also been released jn selected centres. Written and directed by Mahi V Raghav, the movie is based on the late Andhra Pradeesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy aka YSR’s historical three-month-long padayatra. It was a changing point in his political career which propelled his image as the people’s leader.

Mammootty’s performance as YSR has widely been appreciated. The actor has tried not to mimic but play the character in his own style. His Telugu dialogue presentation has also found appreciation. YSR’s followers have all been highly impressed by how Mammootty played their leader’s role.

Happy with the positive response for the move, YSR’s son, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, took to his social media handle to congratulate the team. He has tweeted,
