Power tariff to go up in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 13, 2014: The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) set the ball rolling for a power tariff hike for all categories of consumers in Kerala.

KSEB will recover around Rs 800 crore through tariff hike across different categories of power consumers.

According to reports, consumers will now have to pay extra 35-40 paise per unit. The Kerala Electricity Regulatory commission will take a final call on the tariff revision.
