Eggless Chocolate Cupcake Recipe


All purpose flour(maida) -1 1/2 cup

Cocoa Powder-2 1/2 tbsp (if using imported cocoa powder,use little less)

Baking soda - 1 tsp

Salt - a pinch

Sugar - 1 cup

Oil (any flavorless oil)- 5 tbsp

White vinegar -1 tbsp

Milk -1 cup

Vanilla essence/Chocolate essence -1 tsp


1.Preheat the oven for 15 minutes at 180 degree C.Grease and dust the cupcake moulds. If using paper liners, you do not have to grease it.Sieve all the dry ingredients together twice.Maida + cocoa powder + baking soda + salt.Powder sugar and keep it aside.

2.In a bowl, add oil, vinegar, sugar, vanilla essence, lukewarm milk and mix with a wooden ladle until sugar dissolves.Add the dry ingredients and fold it gently.

3.Spoon cupcake batter into cupcake moulds or paper liners until 2/3 full.Bake at 180 degree C for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.Cool it well before frosting.
