Bare, plain and boring walls come alive when you decorate them with paintings, wall hangings and photo frames. There are many things that are available for free, and work for wonderful accessories. For instance, pebbles and shells collected from beaches and other places work wonderfully well in interestingly shaped glass vases and containers as showpieces. You could also use pinecones in a similar fashion.
