COVID-19 positive Manish Sisodia diagnosed with dengue

New Delhi: A day after Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was admitted to Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Hospital due to COVID-19, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader was diagnosed with dengue on Thursday.

The deputy CM's platelet count has dropped significantly.

Meanwhile, the Office of the Delhi Deputy CM said that Sisodia was shifted to Max Hospital from LNJP Hospital.

Sisodia, who tested positive for COVID-19 on September 14, was admitted to LNJP Hospital in Delhi on September 23 from being under home-isolation after he had contracted the infection.

On September 14, the Delhi minister had tweeted to announce that his swab samples returned positive for coronavirus.

The AAP leader had appealed to all who came in contact with him to get tested for COVID-19 in case of any symptoms.
