Farmers' protest continues at Delhi borders

New Delhi: The ongoing protests by 1000’s of farmers in opposition to the Centre’s new farm legal guidelines entered the fifth day on Monday, with the protestors threatening to block all 5 entry points to the nationwide capital.

Rejecting the Centre’s provide to maintain talks as soon as they transfer to the Burari floor, the farmers mentioned they won’t settle for any conditional dialogue and have referred to as a gathering to talk about their subsequent plan of action later within the day.

Farmers, who had reached Nirankarai Samagam Ground in Burari on Saturday, continued their protest there.

Traffic continued to be disrupted within the metropolis due to the protests.

Taking to twitter, the Delhi Traffic Police on Monday alerted commuters to take an alternate route since Singhu and Tikri borders continued to stay closed.
