Karnataka CM Yediyurappa tests positive for COVID-19

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister B.S Yediyurappa has tested positive for COVID-19. He took to his Twitter handle to inform that he has contacted the infection and requested people, who came in his contact recently, to exercise self-quarantine.

The 77-year-old chief minister said that he is hospitalised after doctors' recommendation.

"I have tested positive for coronavirus. Whilst I am fine, I am being hospitalised as a precaution on the recommendation of doctors. I request those who have come in contact with me recently to be observant and exercise self-quarantine", Yediyurappa wrote.
