C.M Raveendran moves HC seeking relaxation in ED interrogation

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister’s additional private secretary C.M Raveendran has moved the High Court seeking relaxation in Enforcement Directorate interrogation in connection with the gold smuggling case.

Raveendran approached the HC through a well-known criminal advocate.

In the petition, Raveendran alleged that the ED was troubling him by continuously issuing notices and sought the HC’s intervention in the form of interim relaxation.

Raveendran has demanded the court to decide the time of interrogation.

Raveendran has demanded that the interrogation must not take place in custody and that his advocate must be present during questioning.

Earlier, the ED had summoned Raveendran for the 4th time asking him to appear for questioning at 10 am on Thursday. Raveendran did not appear for questioning during the last three times citing health problems.
