Thiruvananthapuram: The Enforcement Directorate has served notice to C.M Raveendran, additional private secretary to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, to appear for interrogation on December 10.
It is for the third time, ED is serving notice to Raveendran as part of the probe into gold smuggling case.
Earlier, Raveendran skipped the first interrogation after testing COVID-19 positive. Even after receiving the second notice from ED, he failed to appear for the interrogation as he was hospitalised for post-COVID treatment.
The ED had informed the court that Sivasankar’s team knew about the gold smuggling and that team is in the office of the chief minister.
Raveendran is the second higher official from the CM’s office who is facing interrogation over the gold smuggling case.
