Kerala not 'a hard nut to crack' for BJP, claims K. Surendran

Pathanamthitta: BJP state president K. Surendran flayed the statement of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan who said that BJP would not be able to succeed in Kerala in the upcoming assembly election.

"BJP is winning in all places where CPI(M) is active. Kerala also is not a hard nut to crack for BJP", Surendran said in a press meet held in Pathanamthitta on Friday.

Surendran also stated that he did not announce E. Sreedharan’s name as chief ministerial candidate, but only pointed out that the party and the public want him to be the chief minister.
