Kerala records highest single-day spike of 722 COVID-19 cases

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala recorded highest-ever single day spike of 722 new coronavirus cases, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said.

Of these confirmed cases, 157 arrived from abroad, 62 other states and 481 infected through contact.

Meanwhile, 228 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.

Thiruvananthapuram recorded the most number of cases with 339 followed by Ernakulam with 57. Desk: Asianet Online
