Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala has recorded 121 new COVID-19 cases within 24 hours on Monday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said.
79 people have recovered from the disease in the state. 5 people have contracted the disease through contact.
It is for the 11th consecutive day that Kerala is recording over 100 new coronavirus cases.
Out of the total number of positive cases, Thrissur has the highest with 26 followed by Kannur with 14. There are 13 new cases each in Malappuram and Pathanamthittaa, 12 in Palakkad, 11 in Kollam, 9 in Kozhikode, 5 each in Alappuzha, Ernakulam and Idukki, and 4 each from Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod.
