New Delhi: The Kerala government has sought legal advice from senior lawyer and constitutional expert Fali S. Nariman in the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) controversy.
The case related to KIIFB is currently under the consideration of the High Court.
It is learnt that the government sought legal advice in the matter regarding raising foreign funds for a financial institution which is created independently.
The legal advice is related to the writ petition which was filed in the High Court to declare KIIFB and masala bonds as anti-constitutional. The advocate general's office sought the legal advice as requested by the finance department.
The documents related to the case were handed over to the office of Nariman.
