Thiruvananthapuram: As the number of coronavirus cases with unknown sources and contacts increased in the state capital, the city has been placed under high alert.
Mayor K. Sreekumar told that restrictions are tightened as a precaution to check community spread.

Measures have been adopted to decrease the rush at government offices.
The restrictions will be tightened further. Markets will be closed down three days a week. Shops will be allowed to open till 7 pm only, the Mayor added.
