Vegetable Pancake Recipe

 

Ingredients

Maida- 3 tbsp
Cornflour- 2 tbsp
Rice flour- 3 tbsp
Baking powder- 1 tbsp
Potato- 1 (finely chopped)
Carrot- 1 (finely chopped)
Onion- 2 (chopped)
Cumin powder- ½ tbsp
Turmeric powder- ½ tbsp
Chilli Powder- ½ tbsp
Spring onions- 2 (finely chopped)
Lemon- 1 (juice)
Oil – 2 cups
Water – 1 cup
Salt to taste

Procedure

1.In a round bowl, take all the above mentioned ingredients and make a thick batter with the help of water.

2.Mix all the ingredients well so that they are in the correct proportion and not to thick nor too thin.

3.Keep aside the batter with the ingredients for 10 minutes.After 10 minutes, heat a tava on medium flame.

4.Drop the batter on the hot tava and in circular motion make a round circle on the tava.

5.Cover the tava with a light lid and let it cook for 2 seconds.When the batter becomes yellow in colour, this means that the pancake is now cooked.

6.Repeat the process with the rest of the batter.Vegetable pancake is now ready to eat.
