The 16th edition of the Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm was flagged off from the Great India Place in Noida.
The number of participants is reportedly the highest in the history of the Desert Storm and includes a much larger contingent of women drivers and navigators.
The competitors who will compete in the 2018 edition of the Desert Storm will have to come to terms with navigating using roadbooks, as opposed to GPS navigation.
Among the key competitors, Team Maruti Suzuki’s Suresh Rana is looking to get his sixth win (and third consecutive win), while audiences hope that CS Santosh, racing for Hero, will be able to better his third-place finish last year.
Stay tuned for all updates over the next five days.
