Thiruvananthapuram: Google has granted permission for the Bev Q app for booking liquor via online. The app can be downloaded from Google Playstore from Wednesday onwards.
Google informed that they granted approval for the Bev Q app on Tuesday morning. People can book liquor using the app from Wednesday and those who get the token can buy liquor from Thursday.
As the technical barriers have been overcome, the app has to go through two tests; a loading test to know if the app can withstand traffic when too many people try to use it at a time and a security test to prevent attempts of hacking.
The developers of the app informed that they can perform both tests at a time.
The app will be functioning based on the pincode of the user's location. The e-ticket produced in the app will inform the user the date, time and of the liquor shop where he should reach. They can reach the shop on the basis of this information to purchase liquor.
The QR code in the e-ticket will be scanned at the liquor shop.
