New Delhi: Oil marketing companies (OMCs) such as BPCL, HPCL and IOCL have raised the cooking gas (LPG – Liquefied Petroleum Gas) price by Rs 25.5 each per 14.2 kg cylinder effective July 1, 2021.
Now. the cooking gas in Mumbai and Delhi will be available for Rs 834.5 per 14.2 kg cylinder.
Generally, state-owned oil companies change the price of gas cylinders (LPG Price) on the first day of every month. However, they didn’t raise it in the month of May and had also cut Rs 10 per 14.2 kg cylinder in April, while the prices were increased in the month of February and March.
In Kolkata, the rate of LPG cylinder has increased from Rs 835.50 to Rs 861 per cylinder, which is one of the highest in metro cities, followed by Chennai, wherein the LPG cylinder price in this southern city will be now Rs 850.50.
