Director-cinematographer K.V Anand no more

Chennai: Tamil director-cinematographer K.V Anand passed away on Friday in Chennai following a heart attack.

He was 54.

Anand suffered a heart attack at his residence in the early hours of Friday and managed to drive himself to a nearby hospital where he passed away at 3 am, as per reports.

After a successful career as a cinematographer for over a decade, working across industries in films like 'Minnaram', 'Chandralekha', 'Mudhalvan', 'Josh', 'Nayak', 'Boys', 'Khakee' and 'Sivaji', Anand made his directorial debut in 2005 with the family drama 'Kana Kandaen' (2005).
