Kottayam: Kerala Congress (M) working chairman P.J Joseph has issued a warning to UDF on the dispute over Kottayam district panchayat president’s seat.
He declared that he will not attend any UDF meetings until his faction gets the post of Kottayam district panchayat president.
Meanwhile, responding to the issue, Jose K. Mani stated that Joseph is challenging the UDF leadership and that his faction has not decided on resigning from the post of district panchayat president.
Following this, P.J Joseph stated that Jose K. Mani faction should maintain political manners by resigning from the post of district panchayat president. He noted that a no-confidence-motion will be moved in district panchayat council if Jose K. Mani faction refuses to resign.
