Hosni Mubarak, Egypt’s President for almost 30 years who was ousted from power in what later became known as the 'Arab Spring' has died.
He was 91.
Egyptian State TV confirmed Mubarak’s passing.
Mubarak ruled Egypt for 30 years until he was ousted following mass protests against his rule in 2011. He was later sent to prison but was freed in 2017 after being acquitted of most charges.
