Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government sought more time to hand over Secretariat CCTV visuals to National Investigation Agency (NIA) as part of the investigation into the gold smuggling case.
The General Administration department told that 400 TB hard disk is needed for copying the visuals and it should be brought from abroad.
Otherwise, NIA can directly come to Secretariat and check the hard disk.
NIA had asked for visuals between July 1, 2019 and July 12, 2020, the day when accused in the case Swapna Suresh was arrested.
There are 83 CCTV cameras at the Secretariat.
