Thiruvananthapuram: Twenty-four new COVID-19 cases were reported in Kerala on Thursday.
Out of the 24, 5 cases have been reported from Malappuram, 4 from Kannur, 3 each from Kottayam and Thrissur, 2 each from Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram and Alappuzha, 1 each from Idukki, Kasaragod and Palakkad.
8 have recovered from the disease.
14 had returned from abroad while 10 returned from other states (5 from Maharashtra, 3 from Tamil Nadu, 1 each from Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh).
Presently, 177 persons were undergoing treatment.
