Kerala misrepresenting Central aid: PS Sreedharan Pillai

BJP state president Advocate PS Sreedharan Pillai commented that Kerala is not serving justice to the Centre.Sreedharan Pillai claimed that the Centre gave a financial assistance of Rs 15000 crore to state. "Kerala is indulging in false propaganda by saying that it has not received anything," he alleged.

He was speaking at the function held to offer tributes to the late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee by immersing his ashes.The state government is making baseless allegations against the Centre despite they being working along with the state in facing the disaster. Allegations against the Centre and BJP is spreading on the social media even after the Centre gave Rs 15000 crore. The  Home Minister had visited Kerala on the second day of disaster. The Prime Minister had met people ignoring the bad weather. Sreedharan Pillai asked if any non-malayalee national Congress leader had visited the sites.

Sreedharan Pillai inquired if the AICC leaders were busier than the Home minister and the Prime Minister. The relief efforts of Congress are limited to press conferences. It is not our way. He said that Seva Bharati, Yuva Morcha and BJP had become part of history due to their service. He added that the media in Kerala mustn’t be like those in America.
