Kerala records 1,648 new COVID-19 cases

 

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala recorded 1,648 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, informed the office of health minister K.K Shailaja.

Among them 1,495 people contracted the disease through contact. Of this, the infection sources of 112 are unknown.

Apart from this, 61 healthcare workers also contracted the virus.

Kannur recorded the most number of cases with 260 followed by Thiruvananthapuram with 253 cases.

2,246 persons have recovered from the disease.
