Kochi: 15 staff at the Indira Gandhi Co-operative hospital in Kadavanthra have been placed under quarantine after a man who had sought treatment two days back, tested positive for COVID-19.
The patient has been admitted to Kalamassery medical college.
He had been staying in an apartment at Kadavanthra. Everyone who had close contact with him have been placed in quarantine.
A few days back, 72 staff at the district hospital were placed under quarantine after a woman under treatment for pneumonia tested COVID-19 positive. The antigen tests for the staff is underway.
