Kochi: The NIA special court sought evidence from the investigation team probing the 'diplomatic baggage' gold smuggling case to prove terrorist links.
The court also asked the NIA team to submit the case diary while considering the bail plea of Swapna Suresh, second accused in the case.
The counsel appearing for Swapna argued that there is no terror links in the case and NIA had not obtained any evidence in his regard.
However, the counsel appearing for NIA confirmed that the probe team was in possession of enough evidence to prove terror links.
The court asked the investigation team to submit the case diary on August 4.
