Realme XT has been launched in India. The company announced the Realme XT at an event on Thursday where it also launched the Realme Buds Wireless earphones and a 10,000mAh Realme Power Bank.
The Realme XT is the company's first 64MP quad camera phone. It also touts a premium glass design, AMOLED display, VOOC 3.0 fast charging and Snapdragon 712 chipset, among other things.
Realme XT price in India starts at Rs 15,999 for the base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone also comes in 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB variants that are priced at Rs 16,999 and Rs 18,999, respectively.
The first sale of the Realme XT will be on September 16 at 12 noon on Flipkart and Realme.com.
Realme XT specifications
The phone gets Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back. The rear glass panel curves around the sides to meet the metal frame. Realme XT comes in two gradient colours - Pearl Blue and Pearl White. The smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Realme's newest smartphone sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080x2340) Super AMOLED Dewdrop display with a screen-to-body ratio of 92 per cent and peak brightness of 430 nits. The Realme XT is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core Snapdragon 712 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The handset comes with a triple card slot that can hold two SIM cards and a microSD card up to 256GB.
Realme XT's main attraction is its 64MP quad camera setup. The vertical camera module on the back includes a 64-megapixel GW1 sensor from Samsung, an an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel portrait camera.
Up front, the phone gets a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 selfie camera.
