Xiaomi Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro have been launched in India. The two smartphones are affordable flagships with impressive hardware at an affordable price.
Both smartphones have similar hardware. The Redmi K20 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and the Redmi K20 has a Snapdragon 730 SoC. This is an entirely new series of Redmi phones, and perhaps an attempt by Xiaomi to break the Redmi brand's image as one of budget phones
The Redmi K20 has a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 91.9 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The Redmi K20 is powered by a Snapdragon 730 SoC and up to 8GB of RAM along with up to 256GB storage.
The smartphone features a pop-up selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at the front and the back, and its display supports HDR.
The Redmi K20 has a 4,000mAh battery and an 18W charge in the box. There's a triple rear camera setup at the back, with a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.
The Redmi K20 price in India for the 6GB RAM, 64GB storage variant is Rs 21,999.
