While there are still doubts over the participation of Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 35, a report has suggested that the WWE Universal champion will be on the show that will take place in April. As per reports, he might face Daniel Cormier in March, which can see him miss the event but as per Brad Shepard, he is in plans for Wrestlemania 35. “I can confirm that Brock Lesnar is in the plans for WrestleMania,” Shepard said on Oh, You Didn’t Know
Lesnar presently holds Universal title and he is set to defend it against Braun Strowman at WWE Royal Rumble. Should Lesnar lose the match, he could be absent from WWE for long but if he wins it, he will have to perform at Wrestlemania 35. But as the report has suggested, no matter the result of the match, Lesnar will be on the show.
Earlier, it was reported that Lesnar has not been advertised for the biggest event of the year and could give Wrestlemania 35 a miss. He is now a part-timer on WWE and makes sporadic appearances. He was on Raw this week, where he confronted Braun Strowman but did not enter the ring.
Prior to that, his last appearance on Raw had come in November, the same month when he took part in his last in-ring match against Daniel Bryan at Survivor Series. The upcoming tie against Strowman will be a comeback match for Lesnar, who defeated the same superstar to win the title at WWE Crown Jewel.
Should Lesnar be on Wrestlemania 35, Seth Rollins might be his likely opponent. The former Intercontinental title looks set for a big push as he has already been made the face of WWE Raw in absence of Roman Reigns.
