Buenos Aires: Diego Maradona has reportedly passed away at the age of 60.
The Argentina legend - regarded by many as the greatest footballer of all time - reportedly suffered a cardio-respiratory arrest and was left in a serious condition.
Argentine outlet 'Clarin' then reported later that Maradona had passed away.
Maradona was hospitalised earlier after undergoing surgery for a blood clot on the brain.
Maradona is fondly remembered for guiding Argentina to World Cup glory in the 1986 edition of the showpiece event.
Talking about Maradona's football legacy, the legendary player was one of the two joint winners of the FIFA Player of the 20th Century award. Besides his goal-scoring exploits, Maradona was also famous for his vision, passing, ball control, and impeccable dribbling skills.
