1. Be happy
Your baby’s happiness is directly proportional to your happiness. So be happy and let your baby prosper in your womb.
2. Avoid stress
Stress is not good for your baby. When you are stressed out, the baby also gets distressed. So take a break and get away from things causing stress to you.
3. Have nutritional supplements
Have all the nutritional supplements prescribed by your doctor religiously. Do not forget to take them because the nutrients provided by them are really important for the proper physical and mental growth of your baby.
4. Eat a well-balanced diet
Have a well-balanced diet which provides you with the required quantities of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins, fiber and all other important nutrients.
5. Drink water regularly
Water is as important as any other nutrient. So don’t underestimate its importance. Keep yourself hydrated and drink water regularly.
6. Do not indulge in self medication
During pregnancy, there are many medicines which can harm your baby. So do not indulge in any sort of self medication. Always seek a doctor’s opinion before taking any medicine. Ask your doctor even before taking a simple painkiller
7. Go for a walk regularly
Gentle exercise like walking will be beneficial for your baby. But do remember to consult your doctor before starting any exercise schedule.
8. Do not smoke
For the sake of your baby, please do not smoke under any circumstances.
9. Do not drink
Stay away even from champagne and wine. Do not consume any alcoholic beverage if you want your baby to be healthy.
10. Check your caffeine intake
Too much of caffeine can cause problems for your baby. So try to stay away from too much coffee when you are pregnant.
